The data have been edited, stacked, deconvoluted, filtered, and graphically displayed on electrostatic plots. *"Multichannel Seismic Profiles Collected in in the Eastern Pacific Ocean off the California Coast south of Point Conception," D.M. Mann and J.K. Crouch, U.S. Geological Survey Open-File Report DATA AVAILABLE. The survey areas span about km of California's coast (including Monterey Bay). Most data were collected aboard the U.S. Geological Survey R/V Parke Snavely. Cumulatively, approximately 1, km of single-channel seismic-reflection data were acquired, mainly using a SIG 2mille minisparker. Scientists and technical staff within the USGS Coastal and Marine Geology Program study coastal and ocean resources from shorelines and estuaries to the continental shelf and deep sea, providing expertise, tools, products, and data that address and inform a broad array of resource challenges facing our Nation.
